Welcome to Harvest Custom! I’m David Dorsey—craftsman, builder, and founder. Starting this business has been a lifelong dream, and I’m grateful every day for the chance to create one-of-a-kind pieces alongside amazing clients. I love working with people from all walks of life to bring their ideas to life. Every project is a new adventure, and I’m proud to turn visions into something real and lasting.
I grew up hands-on, learning everything from blacksmithing to woodworking—skills that laid the foundation for my love of craftsmanship. After high school, I joined the U.S. Air Force as part of the Special Forces, where I gained a deep respect for discipline, resilience, and teamwork. My time in service was cut short by an injury, ending my military path earlier than planned—but it gave me the push to pursue my second dream: owning my own business.
After returning home, I poured myself into welding and woodworking, honing my skills and building what would become Harvest Custom. When I’m not in the shop, you’ll find me at home with my family, enjoying the moments that matter most.
